“For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” (Matthew 23:12)
Sometimes God will allow you to go lower than you ever been before, to bring you higher than you could ever imagine.
Just thank Him for it all & enjoy the journey.
Be honest, be loving & be real. Those who think they have it all really have nothing & those who think they have nothing actually have it all… Those who admit they are in need of something greater than themselves have already won.
Nothing can replace the true intimacy and love of Jesus Christ. Not even yourself. Be full of the spirit, not pride. “The meek inherit the earth, but God opposes the proud.” Love others the way God loves you & has forgiven you. You are not greater than your neighbor & your neighbor is not greater than you.
We are all one by & through Him. It is God that is above all. You can’t be your own God. He sees through that foolishness.
Don’t forget where you came from. You came with nothing & you will leave with nothing. You can’t bring your riches or followers with you into heaven. It is all left behind at the gate.
“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” (Matthew 16:25)
Don’t be afraid to risk losing it all for the truth. You are not standing for nothing. You are standing for everything.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
Jesus went through it all in order to redeem you & wash away your sins. By his blood we are made new.
He did that for you.
If anyone understands your pain, it would be Him. That goes for you too, you over there… who still is in need of a saviour.. He loves you.
Just as he saved me & continues to lead me day in & day out, he will for you too. All you gotta do is ask. Ask me about my Jesus & I will tell you all the wondrous things he has done for me.
